Our Commitment to Child Safety

Vulu strictly prohibits any form of content or behavior that facilitates the exploitation or abuse of children. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Inappropriate interaction targeted at a child (e.g., groping or caressing).
  • Child grooming (e.g., befriending a child online to facilitate sexual contact or exchanging sexual imagery).
  • Sexualization of a minor (e.g., imagery that encourages or promotes the sexual abuse of children).
  • Sextortion (e.g., threatening or blackmailing a child using access to intimate images).
  • Trafficking of a child (e.g., advertising or solicitation for commercial sexual exploitation).

We take immediate action to remove any content that violates these standards and report it to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Our standards against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) are publicly accessible through our Terms of Service. This document clearly outlines prohibited behaviors and the consequences of violating these policies.

Addressing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

Upon obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM, Vulu takes appropriate action in accordance with our published standards and relevant laws. This includes the immediate removal of such content and reporting it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Compliance with Child Safety Laws

Vulu complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations. We have established a process to report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and other relevant authorities.

Additional Measures

In addition to the above, Vulu prohibits apps that appeal to children but contain adult themes, including:

  • Excessive violence, blood, and gore.
  • Depiction or encouragement of harmful and dangerous activities.
  • Promotion of negative body or self-image, including plastic surgery, weight loss, and other cosmetic adjustments for entertainment purposes.
